Jo Gibbs is the Director and Founder of Treat Healthcare. She is a registered nurse, professional human services counsellor and a certified organisational and team coach with international qualifications in mindfulness training.
Jo has developed and delivered evidence-based programs for thousands of health care professionals, patients and carers for over a decade. These programs have been studied and published in peer review journals.
In 2016 Jo developed the ‘Treat’ App with two innovative and award-winning Alfred Health doctors, now on the Harvard Medical School Faculty. They continue to maintain the free Treat app for the global healthcare community.
Treat was nominated Finalist in the Victorian Minister for Health’s Award for Improving Workforce Wellbeing and Safety in 2017 and was winner of the People's Choice Award for the Health Roundtable BEYOND2019 Shark Tank.
Jo continues to deliver Treat programs to many services including The Thrombosis Research Institute in London, Beyond Blue, The Victorian Healthcare Association and most major public hospitals in Melbourne.
Jo is also a mother to three young adult daughters - all studying and living at home, as well caring for four demanding but very cute rescue dogs and cats. She is married to a busy public hospital specialist, so fully understands the stress and demands of balancing a busy family life, working fulltime, and study.
