Tēnā koutou katoa.
Nau mai, haere mai ki Aotearoa!
Greetings and a warm welcome to Aotearoa New Zealand for our colleagues and international guests.
The Organising Committee invites you to join us in Queenstown, New Zealand, from Thursday, 10 September to Sunday, 13 September 2026 for the ANZSVS Conference 2026.
The theme for this year’s meeting, “New Peaks: Shaping the Future of Vascular Surgery,” reflects both the spectacular alpine setting and our shared ambition to advance vascular surgery to new heights. Through keynote scientific presentations, interactive sessions and panel discussions, the 2026 program will showcase the latest developments in our field while exploring emerging challenges and unanswered questions.
In a field defined by innovation, collaboration is essential in navigating the future of vascular surgery in Australasia and beyond. We are delighted to host an outstanding faculty of local and international experts who will share their diverse perspectives and experiences. As in previous years, the ANZSVS Conference is fortunate to partner with the Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Nursing (ANZSVN) meeting.
In addition, this year we are honoured to welcome the World Federation of Vascular Societies to Queenstown, together with the WFVS President, Dr Iman Bayat. The WFVS delegates will bring a truly global perspective to this meeting.
Set against the stunning backdrop of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, the conference also offers opportunities to reflect and rejuvenate – or get your adrenaline pumping — ensuring delegates leave inspired, professionally and personally.
We look forward to welcoming you to Queenstown in September 2026!
Ngā mihi nui,
Dr Anastasia Dean and Dr Manar Khashram
